With Instamic you can record high-quality audio anywhere while keeping it attached on your shirt or the musical instrument that you’re playing. The small microphone was launched in 2 versions: Instamic Pro and Instamic Go, but both are small and portable.
Both are smart microphones able to record in 96khz/24bit, having mono and dual-mono modes, omnidirectional polar pattern, and a frequency response of 50 to 18,000Hz, but the Pro version also features stereo recording capability.
Coming in a small form factor, both enable hands-free recording, featuring multiple clips; sticky, magnetic, velcro, and lanyards for adhering; splashproof enclosure for the Go; and waterproof enclosure for the Pro version. They recharge via USB and record up to 8 hours of audio.
You can use Instamic with or without the dedicated app. The microphone turns on at the press of a button and synchronizes with your Bluetooth device.
Instamic is available for pre-orders at Indiegogo at $149 for the Pro version and $129 for the Go.
