Panasonic announced the world’s first 3D video camera destined to consumers. The model named Panasonic HDC-SDT750 is capable to record 3D videos which can be viewed on 3D television sets.
It comes with 3D conversion lens and also can record full 1080p High Definition videos in the AVCHD format.
Specifications include a 3MOS system with 7.59 million effective motion image pixels, 12x optical zoom, Leica Dicomar lens, Time Lapse Recording feature for playing videos at accelerated speed, 5.1-channel audio recording, Focus Microphone function based on 5 highly-directional microphones, the Crystal Engine PRO, included HD Writer AE 2.6T PC editing software for editing 3D images and burning them on DVDs or Blu-ray discs as well as for uploading recordings online, Panasonic’s Intelligent Auto functionality, Face Recognition, AF/AE Tracking, the HYBRID O.I.S., Intelligent Scene Selector, and Intelligent Contrast Control.
Additionally, the Panasonic 3D camera features Auto Power LCD with automatic brightness adjustment, a 3-inch touchscreen LCD display, the power-saving Eco Mode, and the Pre-Rec function.
Panasonic will release the HDC-SDT750 3D HD camcorder on the market in October at a starting price of $1,399.95.
