Toshiba Escargot VC-Z100L Won a Red Dot Design Award

Earlier this year, Toshiba introduced the VC-Z100L vacuum cleaner, also known as the Escargot, on the Japan market. It is destined for use in homes and has already received a Red Dot Product Design Award at this year’s edition, in the Household Appliances and Machines section.
I couldn’t find out much about this product from the official Japan website of Toshiba,but after looking at the image I can guess you can use it for cleaning small and narrow spaces in your home, such as stairs, windows, walls, in the car, around your computer desk and others similar.

Escargot was designed by Takashi Gumisawa, Toshiyuki Yamanouchi, Tomoyoshi Nakamura from Toshiba and features 50 Watts high-suction power, different accessories for easy cleaning , the cyclone vacuum cleaning system, and 2 filters – a 360-degree mesh filter for large dirt particles and a cloth filter for small dust particles.
It weighs only 2.1 Kg to be easily carried on your shoulder. You can find it in stores in Japan for around $150.
