As long as the user manual doesn't specify that they need to be fully charged to be unplugged, then you can keep them plugged in if you like. From what I know, only Ni-Mh batteries need the fully discharged-fully charged cycle to last longer, but I am surprised that XMI doesn't say what battery type is used in the capsule.

I have a question. I use my laptop as a desktop PC. Its on my desk plugged in always. I bought the X-mini MAX 2 portable speakers to compliment my laptop speakers. My question is can I use those speakers while plugged in. As in listen to music through them while the USB is plugged in and fully charged.

Or do I have to charge it, drain it by using them and then charge it again?
