Editor: Sierra Monica B. under: Home » Latest Gadgets » The X RAY Phone With Transparent Case
If I’ll write an article about the hottest phones of 2010, this handset would surely be included. The model is named X-RAY and was designed by Tokujin Yoshioka for the Japanese market. It features a unique design for a cell phone, borrowed from transparent computer cases.
X-RAY has a see-through case that reveals its internal structure and a 7×102 dot-matrix LED sub-display for showing the current time, incoming emails and other information.
The handset is made from transparent polycarbonate infused with glass fiber. Specifications include: 210 continuous talk time, 270 hours of standby, a 3-inch TFT LCD main display of 260K colors, built-in 8MP CMOS camera with auto-focus and lots of other features, 90-minute video recording, up to 16GB memory support, and the capability to transfer recorded terrestrial digital TV programs.
