There’s one elegant red laptop we missed covering on the site, which is included in Sony’s Vaio P series of ultra-portable computers and available for a pretty high price, like all the other fashionable Vaio laptops from Sony. It was introduced back in January at a price of $1200.

Sony always emphasizes design elements and the Vaio P VGN-P588E in Garnet Red weighs only 1.4lb including the battery, is slim and looks like an elegant hand purse in my view.
It runs on the Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit edition and comes equipped with all the components required to enable mobile entertainment, such as an 1.33GHz Intel processor, 2GB DDR2 memory, integrated graphics from Intel, the Intel High Definition Audio technology, Wi-Fi Draft N, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, mobile broadband support, card reader, 64GB Solid State Drive for data storage, and a built-in Motion Eye web camera with microphone.

The red laptop measures 9.65 x 0.78 x 4.72 inches and has an 8-inch LED display of 1600 x 768 pixels with the Xbrite-Eco technology. The model is also available in Emerald Green, Onyx Black, Crystal White and Gold.
