For the upcoming holiday season, Sony introduced its latest digital picture frame called the S-Frame DPF-D72N/BQ. This time it’s about a beautiful model with a glossy black frame decorated with Swarovski crystals from the CRYSTALLIZED line.
The frame has a 7-inch LCD display diagonal of 800 x 480 pixels and 1GB of internal storage so you can collect up to 2,000 photos. The automatic resizing feature takes care of the picture sizes so you can reach that large number of image files in the frame’s memory.

You can transfer photos from the computer onto the frame via the USB cable or by inserting one of the supported memory cards: Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Secure Digital, Multi-Media Card, Compact Flash, xD-Picture Card and SDHC.
If you need to save more space on the desk you can set the frame vertically on the stand on the back, or on the wall, and the Auto Orientation sensor will rotate the photos from the landscape to the portrait view.

Other functions provided by the stylish frame include calendar, clock, thumbnail view, slideshow with 10 transition effects, and support for JPEG and RAW file formats. There is no Bluetooth or Wi-Fi support for wireless connectivity.

The model will be available for purchase at $150 starting October.
