Yet another pink camcorder made in China, this time in a simpler design, but packing many functionalities. It is not a High Definition video camera and probably that’s why you can get it for only EUR 78.27, or about $111, but it features 109MB internal storage capacity, support for up to 8GB using an SDHC memory card, 1/2.5″ CMOS 5.0MP sensor, video resolutions of 640 x 480, 720 x 480 and 320 x 240 at 30 frames per second, video recording in MOV and MP4 formats, 2x optical zoom, 8x digital zoom, Fine and Normal video compression, video effects, White Balance, LED highlight and 4-step EV.
As for the digital still camera capabilities, the Paris model takes JPEG photos at up to 16MP with 2x optical zoom and 8x digital zoom, allowing you to set color effects, the White Balance, Burst Mode, Face Detection and add Date Stamp.
The Paris Digital Camcorder has a 3-inch TFT LCD display on which you can access the settings in the language of your choice, including English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Korean, Turkish, Japanese, Russian, Arabic, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
It supports both NTSC and Pal TV standards and powers from a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, or from 4 AAA batteries. You can transfer the photos and videos on the computer via the USB 2.0 interface, or share them on a larger display via the AV out.
The camera measures 111 x 68 x 41 mm and comes with an adjustable strap, tripod installation, PC software for video and photo editing, battery charger, 2GB SD card, power adapter,the AV/USB cable, a carrying bag and the rechargeable battery.
