Dia is the name of the latest digital photo frame launched by Parrot and created by NoDesign. It’s not only a beautiful digital picture frame, but also a high-end device with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, running Android.

The unique design features of the frame include the transparent 10.4-inch high-resolution screen and the light coming from the sides, while the minimalist look makes it ideal for any modern décor. It displays images in a translucent manner and the user can browse through them using the tactile buttons.

Dia also pre-loads several useful applications such as Diaporama, Holidays, Cabinet of curiosities, FrameChannel and Mover. With these you have the possibility to create journeys with geotags, receive weather information, read the latest news, connect to your friends on Facebook, send photos from the iPhone to the frame wirelessly, and others.

The frame runs Android and allows you to connect connect devices to its USB ports, as well as a keyboard and mouse.

Specifications include 800 x 600 screen resolution, SD/MMC card slot, integrated online services like MobileMe, Picasa, Frame Channel and Flickr, automatic updates via Wi-Fi, 200MB internal memory and alarm function.

This unique digital photo frame will be available in February. The price is unknown.
