The Smartbean device is a Bluetooth receiver designed to add wireless capability to your wired headphones. In case you’ve found the perfect headphones but they are wired, you can use Smartbean to connect to your phone or other Bluetooth-enabled audio source.
The small device allows you to turn your favorite headphones into wireless ones, with the condition that they feature the standard 3.5mm jack. To do this you only have to plug the jack into the device to enable the receiver functionality. It works within the 30-feet range. Plus there are also an integrated microphone and audio controls for volume adjustment, play, pause and skip for tracks.
The wireless receiver uses a rechargeable Li-Pol battery which offers 6 hours of talk time, while recharging within 2.5 hours. Smartbean features Bluetooth 3.0 and is backwards compatible with almost all Bluetooth devices.
