At the beginning of next month, LG will showcase several innovations in computer technology at this year’s edition of the IFA consumer electronics show that will take place in Berlin, Germany. One of the innovative devices that visitors will have the chance to discover is the LG LSM-100 computer mouse with built-in scanner.
The wired mouse features a Smart Scan button on the left side that activates the scanning function that allows users to scan paper documents of up to A3 size. Images can be saves as DOC, PNG, XLS, JPEG, PDF, TIFF and BMP. More than that, the small gadget supports Optical Character Recignition for converting scanned text into digital documents that can be edited.
I guess we’ll find out more about the new LG LSM-100 mouse after the showcase.
