I saw this on droolr yesterday and I thought it would be a great decoration item for any living or bedroom during the night. It will be available at thumbsUp starting May 3 at a price of £24.99, or about $38.

The cushion enables mood lighting and is made from soft plush fur, integrating a light source that spreads multiple colors through the whole cushion. It powers from 3 AA batteries placed in a special compartment with zipper and the light comes from LEDs, which means it’s safe and energy-saving at the same time, and you can turn the lights off when you want.

At the first glance it looks like a web camera that attaches to the computer monitor, but instead it’s a pair of stereo speakers. The gadget looks very funny, like some kind of alien stunned by something, so I guess it would keep a smile on your face while you work.

The pink stereo speaker also supports three different connections with USB gadgets. You can connect a microphone, for example, and it also comes with a clip that allows you to attach it to your computer monitor.

It works as a 3-port hub and the built-in speaker powers via USB. It has a an integrated microphone as well, which you can use with your favorite chat application. From the description we learned about the Internet radio capability but there aren’t extra details about this.

If you want to use the mini speakers at work you can at least use some earphones. This way you won’t distract others from their work, although the look of the gadget catches everyone’s attention by default.

In addition, the speakers feature plug-and-play capability, USB 2.0 interface, support for the newest Windows operating systems, Mac and Linux, and measure 208 x 62 x 90 mm at 183 grams.

FIFA World Cup Light Shirts From Zinoz

Football enthusiasts are probably anxious to watch the live matches of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, which will take place in June and July, and if are one of them you can wear a new type of shirt that allows you to show the others around that you are a real fan.

The special edition of FIFA World Cup light shirts was launched by Zinoz, a producer of innovative accessories and T-shirts using the electroluminescence, LED and lenticular technologies. Its new collection brings several sound-activated shirts and flashing disc shirts available in orange, white, yellow, red and blue.

The sound-activated shirts feature a sound-sensitive EL panel that activates the graphic equalizer, which lights up to the music beat. The EL shirts are made from cotton and can be washed by hand.

Colorful Butterfly Flaps its Wings in the Sun

This is a great toy and, at the same time, a nice decorating item for your room. It is called the Solar Butterfly and, as its name suggests, it powers from the sunlight while attached to your window and starts to flap its wings.

You get the box with all the butterfly’s components and first have to assemble it and paint it in your favorite colors using the included kit, then attach it to the window.
Inside the box you’ll find the solar panel, an electric motor, the sticker, two plastic window fixings, an axle with nylon gears, plastic wings, crank and connecting rods, three colors of translucent paint, the paintbrush and an instruction leaflet.
The butterfly measures 170 x 70 x 160 mm at 0.15 grams and is recommended to kinds over 6 years old.

In sunny days the butterfly starts to flap its wings spreading beautiful colors in the room. You can find it at the Gadgetshop at a price of £12.99.

Autumn Calendar Tears off its Leaves Automatically

The Stihl Autumn Calendar 2010 is an unique calendar created by Euro RSCG from Germany for Stihl, who needed a business gift product through which to promote its leaf blowers range.

The company wanted a very unique design that was never seen before and Euro RSCG made the first tear-off calendar with sheets falling automatically after each day. It covers the period between September 23 and December 21, 2010.

The 10,000 EUR Sheet of Paper

At Golden Store, a German luxury online shop providing various unique items, you can find this 500-year old sheet of paper dated from the time of Christopher Columbus, which is hand-made and features a special watermark.

There is not much information about this sheet of paper but I guess you can print a special message on it and offer it to someone very special who can keep it in a private collection.

For this you would have to spend no less than EUR 10,000, or about $13,760.

At this year’s edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, which will take place in Milan between March 14-19, Sicis, the designer of the unique high-heeled shoe-shaped bathtubs, will showcase a new collection of beautiful chairs created by Carla Tolomeo from Sicis Next Art, a new Sicis division.

Parfait Amour, Lucky Charm, Le rouge et noir, and Sedia di fidanzamento were made using high-quality fabrics and mosaic elements featured also by the shoe-shaped bathtubs.

Sicis will launch several limited editions at the prestigious show.
