Daniusoft Video Converter Ultimate Review and Giveaway

Daniusoft Video Converter Ultimate, formerly known as Daniusoft Media Converter Ultimate, is a complete solution for home users and professionals who need a single application to handle all of their video files. It packs six different functions so you can use it as a video file converter, a DVD ripper software, a DRM removal software, a DVD burner software, a video transfer utility and a YouTube video downloader. This means you can do lots of things with it such as convert between various video file formats, rip DVDs to many video and audio formats, including High Definition content, remove the DRM protection from files, burn videos on DVD discs, transfer videos and music between the computer and other media player devices, and download your favorite videos from YouTube on your computer.
In addition, with Daniusoft Video Converter Ultimate users are able to capture images from videos, extract audio from video, convert between audio formats, edit videos, adjust video parameters, merge multiple videos into a single file, convert multiple videos simultaneously, send converted files to iTunes directly, and customize DVDs with menu labels, templates, background music and background image.

We’ve received a license of Daniusoft Video Converter Ultimate from the developers to review and I found a single inconvenient – I can’t remove audio from video – which I think it could be enabled in the future version. If you don’t take this into account then the application is great. The following are the top features I personally like most:

Intuitive interface
The interface is intuitive and has a pleasant look, which I consider to be one of the most important features of any application. You can access all the tools from the main window and the advanced settings are not hard to use either.

Full-screen mode
Unlike other similar software, Daniusoft Video Converter Ultimate allows me to get a larger view in the full-screen mode. This is useful especially when you need to work with multiple files simultaneously and the default size of the window doesn’t allow you to see all of them.

Built-in media player
A while ago I had the chance to review another video conversion software with basic functions, but the lack of a built-in player required using a separate application for finding the starting and ending points for trimming videos.
Daniusoft Video Converter Ultimate comes with media player function so you won’t have to use additional software to finish editing your videos.

Many functions in a single application
Within the main window you can access your video, watch the video in the media player on the right, download online videos by pasting the exact URL into the pop-up window, clip videos, edit videos, copy the video to other devices connected to your computer, select the output format based on the type of device you’ll play it on and file format, set the output quality and target location, and burn your videos.
I also like that when I take snapshots from videos it saves them automatically in the Snapshots folder, without asking me where to save the files and what file names to set.

Many file formats supported
Daniusoft Video Converter Ultimate comes with default support for over 150 output file formats and devices.

Ease of use
You don’t need to have previous experience with video converters in order to learn how to use Daniusoft Video Converter Ultimate. Besides this, you can find an online Help section with explanations and tips.

hi, i have used Allok MPEG4 Converter. Its good but there are not much options like to change bit rate of video or crop video or add effects.
Daniusoft video convertor provides a lot of configuration including video trimming, joining etc. It has a lot of features but due to these features, the conversion speed has reduced as compared to its previous version “Media Converter Ultimate”. but still it is one of the best available multimedia convertors.

  37. You all are totally intimidating me! I am a technophobic Mommy Blogger with a Special Needs review and giveaway blog. Sponsors are requesting video and I am clueless. But I’m going to channel my daughter’s don’t give up spirit and dive in. I would love to learn how to add video to my reviews and therapy/educational tips.

  38. dianad says:

I’m entering this with my husband in mind. This is above my head as I’m technically challenged. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway

  40. Dawn says:

  42. Jay F. says:

I’ve done video ripping using freeware tools and found them hard to install all the pieces, inconvenient, and time consuming. I remember trying to rip a one hour DVD to play on my Zune took my system about 36 hours. I suspect this program would do a lot better (and I got a new quad processor system, so that should help immensely).

  43. Justine says:

My experience with converters is they don’t work very well or they take forever! I have not used this one tho, I am very hopeful I would love it!

  44. Chrystal says:

I use a video converter most often to download videos from youtube, or to convert files to different formats.

  46. Veronica Garrett says:

This sounds great. I haven’t used one before but my daughter has lots of videos that she would love to put on dvd.

  47. Auriette says:

A few years ago, I made a short film, which was edited by a professional editor. I had one copy on DVD and a file that he had emailed to me. Trying to make copies to give to the actors was a major challenge. I tried downloading a couple of free programs through CNET, and I might be able to get them to work once, but then they’d never want to act right after that. Maybe it was something I was doing, because I’m not real savvy about doing stuff with video on the computer, but I’m still trying to get all the DVDs made for my cast! That’s why I’d love to win this software, because it sounds like the perfect solution.
