Hammacher Schlemmer introduced a new small device that attaches to your lower back to relief pain. The Cordless Neuromuscular Back Pain Reliever is shaped like a butterfly and features flexible wings that adjust to your body shape. Being so small and thin, it hides under your shirt so you can use it while at the office.
The device uses Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation which consists of electrical pulses that block pain signals which pass through nerves to the brain. In addition, the device increases blood flow in order to help with healing and relaxation.
Included is a small remote control that you can use to set a 30-minute session, adjust the stimulation intensity or power Off. The device powers from two AAA batteries and attaches to your skin through gel pads, coming with 40 of these. The description says you can use a pair of gel pads for up to five times.
