ComputerStick is a 4-inch pocketable quad-core computer powered by the Intel Cherry Trail Atom chipset for fast graphics, featuring 5GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB and microSD ports, LED power indicator, air vents, cooling fans, and the Windows 10 operating system.
You can connect it to any TV that has an HDMI port. Practically, the stick is the computer, while the TV becomes the computer monitor. Now you’re probably asking yourself if you’d have to control everything using the TV remote, like you do with a smart TV. Well, no, this time, you can use your own smartphone and the touchscreen to speed up things.
With ComputerStick and the TV with HDMI you can do anything you use to do on a desktop or laptop, including work, gaming, web surfing and so on, and it even works with projectors. Everything is controlled via your smartphone and the ComputerStick Mobile app. The touchscreen becomes the mouse and the virtual keyboard becomes the keyboard.
You can pre-order the stick from Indiegogo for the special price of $125 for the standard version featuring the 1.83GHz Intel Bay Trail Atom processor. The ComputerStick Pro costs $175 and features the Intel Cherry Trail Atom chipset.
