Apple released the Magic Trackpad to enable a laptop-like experience for desktop computer users who are used with the laptop trackpad navigation style.
Magic Trackpad is not a regular trackpad but features multi-touch capability like MacBook Pro notebooks and is destined to Mac users. More than that, the device connects to the desktop computer wirelessly via Bluetooth and replaces your mouse.
Using your fingers you can scroll, pinch, swipe and rotate items, as well as click to open or close applications.

Featuring Bluetooth connectivity, the Magic Trackpad allows you to control your computer with gestures within a 33-feet wireless range and when it doesn’t detect any activity it saves battery life.

Panasonic announced the world’s first 3D video camera destined to consumers. The model named Panasonic HDC-SDT750 is capable to record 3D videos which can be viewed on 3D television sets.
It comes with 3D conversion lens and also can record full 1080p High Definition videos in the AVCHD format.

Specifications include a 3MOS system with 7.59 million effective motion image pixels, 12x optical zoom, Leica Dicomar lens, Time Lapse Recording feature for playing videos at accelerated speed, 5.1-channel audio recording, Focus Microphone function based on 5 highly-directional microphones, the Crystal Engine PRO, included HD Writer AE 2.6T PC editing software for editing 3D images and burning them on DVDs or Blu-ray discs as well as for uploading recordings online, Panasonic’s Intelligent Auto functionality, Face Recognition, AF/AE Tracking, the HYBRID O.I.S., Intelligent Scene Selector, and Intelligent Contrast Control.

Apple’s New 27″ LED Cinema Display

Earlier today, Apple introduced a new desktop monitor called the LED Cinema Display that features 27-inch diagonal, 2560 x 1440 resolution, 178-degree viewing angles, built-in iSight web camera with speakers and microphone, USB 2.0 hub and a MagSafe connector. Apple recommends it to MacBook and iMac users who can connect the laptop to the larger display when needed.

This new monitor has a glass display and a lightweight aluminum stand featuring adjustable hinge for easy tilting to the best position. In addition, it uses an ambient light sensor for adjusting the display brightness depending on the lighting conditions.

Apple launched the 27-inch LED Cinema Display at a starting price of $999 and will make it available for purchase in September at the Apple Store.
