Iain Sinclair CardSharp Folding Pocket Knife

Designed by Iain Sinclair, CardSharp is a folding pocket knife about the size of a credit card, which you can use in any situation as a handy utility knife.

To start using it you have to transform the 13-grams card into a sharp knife in three easy steps. This way you can reveal the stainless steel surgical blade.

The knife is only 2.2-mm thick and features 65-mm extra cutting edge. You can choose either the Teflon Black blade version or the Natural Brushed Stainless Steel.

Regarding safety, I can tell you that the blade is stored inside the card to avoid accidents and can’t fold accidentally. It also is waterproof and can be laser engraved. You can use this modern tool wherever you are, including in the kitchen, outdoors, while gardening, for security purposes, as well as a promotional item.

Check the presentation video for CardSharp:

The knife is available for purchase at Iain Sinclair for £15.

I bought this. It finally showed up after months of waiting for it to finally be made, and when I finally got it, I found the handle was made of plastic. I still liked it, the blade was sharp and everything. Then I tried to cut stiff cardboard, and the blade broke off the cheap plastic handle. What a waste of money. DO NOT BUY!

Not yet. Just got it and broke it, and it took so long to get it to have it be crap that I was very frustrated. I’ll be contacting them today.

  3. I hope they’ll replace it at least. Too bad. It looks so cool.
