Technology advancements are impressive lately and it seems that companies which created the complex systems encountered in specialized health clinics try to adapt these to the consumer sector, for allowing us to benefit from the same features from the comfort of our homes.
If recently we had the chance to see the Tria Laser Hair Removal System now it’s time to check another product, capable of detecting early stages of breast cancer.
It is known as Breastlight and was invented by Dr. David Watmough.

Breastlight is a small device that you can use with one hand to check for changes in your breasts over time. It uses red LED light to allow you to see normal blood vessels, or dark spots that may appear and which could reveal the growth of new blood vessels feeding cancerous tumors.
The periodic checking has to be done in a dark environment for the best visibility. However, Breastlight doesn’t offer a real alternative to mammograph screening.

The device is available in Canada in Rexall Pahrmacies for $150 CAD, and in the UK for £77.50. There is also the Breastlight Lubricant which you can get for £4.85.
