BlueNEXT BN8860 is one of the latest Bluetooth headsets introduced at MobileFun.co.uk and I’m proud to be among those who have the chance to review it. I picked it myself because of the modern and simple design, the customization options and ease of use. It’s also available at an affordable price and this is another reason I wanted to recommend it to you.
The BN8860 Bluetooth headset was created by the UK-based BlueNEXT, a company focused on designing and developing high-performance yet low-cost Bluetooth products. What distinguishes this headset model from others is the included 4 replaceable covers coming in glossy colors, allowing the wearer to switch between them and not get bored of a color. It’s great for girls, as well as guys.
Like all the other Bluetooth headsets, this one is compatible with all Bluetooth-enabled cell phones, such as my Sony Ericsson Xperia X8.

The BlueNEXT BN8860 Bluetooth Headset comes in black, in a nice box including 3 extra covers in red, pink and blue, as well as a USB charging cable, a USB car charger and the user manual.
Design and features
The headset has two buttons – one for accepting/rejecting calls and a 2-in-1 button for volume adjustments. On a side it has the miniUSB charging post for the cable, while the ear hook can be easily detached if you prefer to wear the mid-ear headset without it, as it’s very stable. More than that, you can set the ear hook in the opposite way for your other ear.
Using the headset
I must say I wasn’t surprised to find out that the headset is very easy to use. In addition to enabling a clear sound, it’s lightweight and you won’t feel it in your ear at all. Besides this, the Call/Power button is placed handy so you can press it to accept/reject calls, instinctively.
