Alcatel One Touch Series Amazes with Design and High End Features

Alcatel showcased its latest smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2013 and I must say these are some of the coolest designs I’ve ever seen! The company’s One Touch series now includes the Idol X, Idol Ultra, Idol, and Star smartphones, all coming in several stylish colors, for every taste, in the slimmest and lightest form factor available on the market. Alcatel created these handsets for those focused on style, without compromising performance.

Alcatel onetouch Star is a compact and sleek device that fits in your pocket, delivering a 4-inch AMOLED display, dual-core 1GHz processing speeds, 5MP camera with 720p video recording, and HD surround sound. The smartphone is characterized by the brushed aluminum finish and the edge-to-edge design, coming in Cranberry Pink, Gun Gray, White, and Silver.

Next, there is the superb and slim onetouch Idol Ultra, introduced at the beginning of the year at CES in Las Vegas. The 6.45mm phone coming in Black, Red, Flash Yellow, Turquoise, Green, and Fresh Rose, just to make you crazy about it, features a large 4.7-inch HD AMOLED display with anti-grease oleophobic coating, 1.2GHz dual-core processing speeds, 8MP camera, and a HD 720p front camera.

The original Alcatel onetouch Idol has an LTE version prepared for availability via select carriers features a 4.7-inch QHD IPS display with anti-grease oleophobic coating, 8MP camera, and a fast 1.2GHz dual-core processor. You’ll recognize it after the 7.9mm thickness and the colors Silver, Cranberry Pink, Slate, Red, Magic Blue, and Mint Green.

My favorite is Alcatel onetouch Idol X, a 7mm think smartphone coming in Black, Red, Flash Yellow, Turquoise, Green, and Fresh Rose, with built-in 8MP camera, borderless screen design, powerful quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 5-inch Full HD display, Full HD front camera, HD video recording, and 42Mbps web speeds. There is also a 13MP camera version of this smartphone, but will be available in select markets.
